Finishing touches to the Planning

On wednesday, we completed our storyboard. Therefore, we started thinking about our credit sequence and the props, ready for filming.
Faria and Raihan made the props, which is images of victims, which we put up in college, and will film them in college too. Raihan used newspapers to cut out images of people who happened to be the killer's victims.
Siyam and I began to look at existing crime dramas to come up with ideas for our credit sequence, as our crime drama was only 2 minutes long. Siyam decided to be the detective in our crime drama, therefore we decided to film him in different situations, one of them being, where he is chasing after a criminal. The wide range of camera angles will make this crime drama more encouraging for the target audience.
Filming will take place on Wednesday next week. However, we will only film inside the college, and some quick shots of the killer's work place. We cannot film much due to the timing.

Change of plan

On friday, we began to finalise our storyline and finish off any planning. Our step outline did not make sense, so me and Faria made a new one, as there was too muchh going on in the old step outline which didnt go well together. After writing this out, Faria went through it and put down all the shot types for each stage in our step outline. Raihan took the step outline home to make a new storyboard for our Crime Drama, so we know exactly what will happen and when. I have also got people to play the part of the victim and the jogger in our crime drama.

We put the final touches to our crime drama, and filled out an A3 sheet about the different areas of Criminal Act. We discussed different ideas to do with how the crime drama will be filmed and what will happen in it.
